Review of Face Off

If you have a chance to "change your face to someone", Are you willing to do it?Almost all people aren't satisfied with their face so if they could have a chance to do that, maybe they would do it.As we know about technology, that is surely impossible. But, according to the movie "Face off" that is possible. After watching that movie, I'm really impressed and I think about the danger of technology.In particular, I'm very impressed with the scene when Sean and Castor fight between the mirror. I think that scene shows that if they want to kill each other, they have to shoot "mirror". The mirror shows not me, "Enemy". That means I have to shoot to my face because I have to kill enemy. That scene is really ironic and interesting to me.I'm also thinking about danger of technology. As time goes by, technology is getting develop, so many things become comfortable and better compare with before. Even though many things getting better, like as that movie shows, that have also many disadvantages. Especially we misuse technology to bad things, that menas more develop technology, easier to commit criminal. I think we have to consider about danger of technology.

Face Off

In this movie, there are two main characters.One is the boss of a gang whose name is Castor and the other is Sean a member of the FBI.They changed their faces so that they could get some very important information from the gang member.But Sean failed because Castor noticed their mission and killed all the people who know their mission.So Sean was trapped in jail because no one knows they changed their faces.Somehow he could escape from the jail.And he tried to kill Castor but it was really difficult because his face is still Castor.Later he convinced his wife and succeeded to kill Castor and he could get his face back.Fine.

FACE/OFF

I was excited when I watched this movie because it came to climaxes several times.It didn't end when I felt it was almost finished.But, I couldn't agree with the scene that Castor Troy recovered from a coma in the hospital.First, the ECG just before he revived was VT (ventricular tachycardia). It means that he almost died.Second, we never cut the human skin with electric cautery but we usually do it with a knife because a scar of a burn remains on the coaptation zone and causes keloid.I enjoyed the first half because I couldn't guess what happened next but the latter half is boring. Most of the scenes included actions. They shot each other again and again and the buildings and boats were destroyed. In my case I like to watch the scenes having some mystery in it.

Critique of "FACE OFF"

I have watched this movie many times . but everytime I watch it, I feel excited and nervous.This movie was made with incredible idea, especially when their faces were changed with each other, we were all shocked.Archer showed his high passion for his work through his decision to have that surgery with big risk.His wife even didn't recongnize him. But in many troubles, he tried to protect his family and arrest Troy.This movie had a happy ending. In addition, at the end of the movie, he kept his word with Troy's wife that she wanted his son to grow up in the way that's different with the life style of his parents.At this part, everbody might be moved by this scene when they decided to take care of the enemy's son.If I see it in negative way, it is too bloody and violent.

After watching "FACE OFF"

Do you know the two guys who switched faces in the 1997 hit film titled " Face Off"? When I met this title, I thought it's a story about plastic surgery. But this movie is a highly science fiction film.This is the first time that I has watched about moving face. So I'm curious. But the movie started, I felt it's cruel as well as dirty. As time goes by, I knew it has interesting and moving story. At the movie's climax, I felt family's love and importance of personality.If you have free time, you try to watch this movie. I recommend it.

After Watching Face Off...

It's my first time to watch Face off, and I've heard about Face off before. That time, I was not interested in watching the movie. I think I shoud have watched that time, because it was very interesting and exciting.Frankly speaking, when I watched the movie first, I was disappointed about Face off. I thought it's such an old-fashioned movie. But as the movie continued, the more interested I became.It tells us about the winning of the right, and makes us exciting. But there are some mistakes and ridiculous things.The first of all, when Castor shot Sean, why Castor killed him perfectly?The second of all, when Castor leave an area by airplane, why there was a female FBI member in The airplane? and why they don't arrest them before the airplane started to go? after that, they lost a expensive plane.The third of all, when Sean and Castor fought each other in the end of the movie, I don't understand why Sean wait Castor. I think he could shoot him, when Castor was in the church.Anyway, without these things, I think this movie is made well.

Face Off

Is it possible? Well...Actually this movie is creepy.But John Travolta and Nicolas Cage are my favorite actors. Their actings are awesome.I heard that this movie was made about 10 years ago. But it isn't old-fashioned.If my face was also changed to another face and another life, I would be nervous too.Even if it is possible I don't want to chose that situation.Many women have plastic surgery but it is very dangerous.Anyway the plastic surgery is terrible.
