'Desperate Wives' is the one of popular series' in America. By thinking about the reason, we can get the function of T.V programs as a media. Sometimes people think being a housewife is the easiest job in the world,
But in that drama, in terms of not only physically but mentally, do they have happy lives? I think all of them have troubles. Even one of the wives, who committed suicide, was not able to notice what the problem is, and there is no visible trouble in her life. They didn't realize they have something wrong in their lives. They are still busy managing the house chores. But it gives us something to think about. What is the hidden matter in our life? I'm not talking about feminism term. In that drama, they might want to talk about that. But in general, I want to say that T.V programs involve the social problem we have to reconsider. Indirectly and directly, T.V programs have meaningful elements, wheather it is valuable or not. What I mean is, it affects the audience by gathering empathy by showing the social problems in our real life. T.V programs can be continued, especailly the drama series. In conclusion, T.V programs reflect our lives that have so many troubles. Sometimes it gives us advices and empathies. Somehow our life is also a kind of drama, and we are the actors who are looking for the solution.
